AccessAble is an online resource providing Detailed Access Guides all about a venue's access facilities. The company's suite of applications used by surveyors all over the UK needed ongoing software support, data management and development as part of their rebrand and new website.

We were approached about taking over support for AccessAble's suite of applications at a time when their previous software developers were no longer in a position to do so. This was at a critical period of change for the business as they were going through a rebrand and had a new website being developed. As such immediate support in terms of maintenance, hosting and development was required.
The suite of applications supports a team of surveyors who travel the country to assess venue facilities. The surveyors work both on and offline which adds another level of complexity, as the team need to be able to work offline in areas with no signal and to then sync their tablet / laptop when back on a network.
They have a schedule of works to complete each day and so the product must retain a very high uptime and is fundamental to the supply of data which feeds both their website as well as a number of mobile applications.

Our specialist support team took over support and development as part of this we needed to refactor elements of the software and complete new developments on both the UI, server and web API's. As part of the roadmap we moved their database to Microsoft Azure's SQL platform resulting in increased performance, reduced costs and scalability for them.
We were able to complete the refactoring and numerous enhancements of the product since improving stability and speed of their applications and as a result the data that is served on their website and their main reason for existence as a business. The rebrand and new website successfully launched on the 06th December and it has been a big success for the client.
The company’s suite of applications is particularly complex, and our developers had to come up to speed with understanding the business operations swiftly and expertly.
We have demonstrated an ability to think a problem through pragmatically and still deliver scalable, sustainable and easy to maintain code.
We've had to work collaboratively with multiple other suppliers to deliver these major enhancements as they all hinge on the API that we maintain and develop.
As part of our software consulting approach we were able to make recommendations to improve performance, reduce costs and complete the changes for the client.
