Brand Shiny New

For the observant amongst you, it wouldn’t have escaped your notice that some things have changed round here. Team Awevio are now Clever Software Group.

Here’s all you need to know about our rebrand and what comes next:

What’s in a name?

Since our inception in 2016, we have been known as Awevio. The slight issue with that being that not many could pronounce our name. We’ve heard Awevio pronounced in more ways than you could imagine. And definitely more than we imagined when we made up the word in the first place!

This confusion prompted us to think about how we could better correlate our brand with our business values and mission. So we undertook a significant research, planning and design process to develop a brand that really reflects who we are and what we are striving to achieve.

This change became more than just about a name change. It became an opportunity to really focus on our culture, and to put our creative cogs to good use by designing a look and feel that echoes our personality and to demonstrate how we’re different to other software development companies.

What else is changing?

We are the same team in the same place. Our clients will not be affected in any way by our new brand, although prepare to be dazzled by our shiny new website!

We are the same people with the same years of experience and knowledge behind us. But we’ve also got bigger plans for what lies in front of us. Our team will expand in the new year, along with our office space to make room for all our clever clogs and whizzy tech equipment.

So from here on out, we will be known as the Clever Software Group. We’re confident that we now have a brand that speaks for our approach, our quirks, our ambition, and our openness. And we’re also pretty confident that most people will be able to pronounce our new name too! Fingers crossed.
